Gotta start somewhere...

Here it comes! That obligatory awkward first post on a summer blog where the writer promises to detail every little experience and write every day! Well, I've been there and done that - many of you remember my blog from last summer that, well, let's just say left off the last three weeks of my trip. Not this summer! I'm a year older and a year wiser, and I pledge to faithfully log my days working at the Democratic National Committee (DNC for all you acronym-loving Washington insiders), experiences living in DC, my almost assuredly fascinating social life, and occasionally an interesting thought or two.

Thank you guys for taking an interest in my summer (especially my large number of Republican friends!) I'll try to keep it as bipartisan as possible! :)
